12:15: A Hamilton man has organized his own fundraiser to benefit McMaster Children’s Hospital. Jeffrey Holk is putting on ‘Elvis: The Way It Was’ featuring well-known Elvis impersonator Steve Kabakos at the Dofasco Centre for the Arts (Theatre Aquarius) May 4, 8 p.m. Tickets are $30 and $40.

12:15: Celiac disease is considered to be THE most under diagnosed and misdiagnosed disease. At one time thought to be rare, it is now estimated that celiac disease affects up to one per cent of people in Canada or 325,000 Canadians, including about 7,000 in the Hamilton area. On Saturday, April 28 from 8:30 until 12:30, the Hamilton Chapter of the Canadian Celiac Association will host Celiac Education Day at the Burlington Convention Centre located on Burloak Drive in Burlington.
